CHOICE TRANSFERS

Thank you for your interest in a Choice Transfer for your child.

To initiate the Choice Transfer process, please follow these steps:

1. Initial Contact:

   • Call your Skykomish School District to discuss your child’s educational needs and the reasons for considering a Choice Transfer. This conversation will help determine if a Choice Transfer is the best option for your child.

2. School Visit:

   • Schedule a tour of the district to learn more about its programs, facilities, and educational environment.

3. Records Request:

   • Complete a records request form to authorize the release of your child's academic, attendance, discipline, and special education records (if applicable). These records will be reviewed by the Choice Transfer Team.

4. Choice Transfer Team Review:

   • The Choice Transfer Team will carefully review your child's records to assess their suitability for the school.

5. Application and Registration:

   • Once the Choice Transfer Team reaches a decision, you will receive a notification. If approved, please apply for choice transfer at the following link and pick up registration paperwork from the office.
